The love for comics is something we have all grown up with, any edition is collection worthy, but when you have the second issue of the comic series… you know you might be seriously in love! And let me tell you, in the age of the Kindle, the comic book still holds it’s own! I can feel the superpowers in the pages!!

Now this Comic Issue (# 2) reveals the making of Batman – from the Boy he was – to his journey of learning the true ways of the world & mastering his fear. He talks about the integral decisions he has taken in his journey to becoming a Superhero.
Simple sentences, so much story!

I find it very interesting that he is a superhero – without any actual superpowers of his own!
(writer ducks the missile you just threw her way)

But really, it is with his Brain & Brawn, Sidekicks & Technology – that he becomes the vigilante righting the wrongs of the world.  And that suit & mask, and has that baritone that makes one shiver!

Even as a grown up, I find these nuggets of wisdom tucked away in the dialogue boxes – they make you think a while and leave you wondering…

You think you know fear now. But you don’t know fear half as well… as it knows you.”

And my favourite –

“… while Destiny is the elusively simple matter of becoming who you are…”

My feelings about Batman – I LOVE HIM, Of course!

Some Batty-Gyaan

The THEN National Comics Publications (future DC comics) wanted more super superhero titles after Superman’s success. Thus followed, many of DC’s creations, and the rest as they say, is history! (monumental history).
Batman is a fictional superhero character created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger.
He first appeared in Detective Comics #27 (1939). Originally named the “Bat-Man”, the character is lovingly now also called the Caped Crusader, the Dark Knight, and the World’s Greatest Detective, or as I like to call him, my own personal Hero!

  1. The concept of a hero who answered to his own idea of justice who was dark & struggled with personal demons was a cool idea to me. He remains the original childhood super hero.

    1. Yeah his personal demons made him more human. I loved a couple of the recent Batman movies over the comics.

  2. I used to read a lot of comic books … but mostly Dhruv and Doga 😀 I love Batman’s new suit than the older one, but my forever favorite is Superman 😀

I would love to hear what you thought of this post
