Hola readers!! It is that time of the year when the A to Z blogging mania grips the erudite literati.
Its been more than five years since I participated in this challenge, and am quite nervous about it. Bolstered by my notorious compatriot in arms books, Soumya Prasad a.k.a bluntpages on IG, we have decided to tackle this year’s challenge together.
Our theme is based on our love for books and what and how we feel about them. We have decided to affix a quirky literary-bookish term to each alphabet and then decipher it on our own terms. While the word remains the same, our interpretation of its dictionary meaning varies as per our reading tastes.
Intrigued? Pin it for later!
Without much ado, my theme for this year’s A to Z is Bookish Endorsements through the alphabet. I am setting forth my list of books by the genre, geography, cultural motifs, favorite authors, and several others which I will think along the way.
I have been a reader all my life and this is something I simply cannot imagine doing without. Though my reading spree goes up and down in a year, I track it all through the Goodreads reading challenge and most years, I am able to meet the number I set up. I am grateful to reading aids like the audiobook which lets me read and do another task simultaneously. This has actually revolutionized my reading and more about this in another post soon.
I am sharing the books I have read so far and the ones I lust after through this year’s A to Z challenge. I hope this is an entertaining read for my readers and look forward to reading about their favorite books through the comments. One thing I am sure is that by the end of this challenge, I will have an enviable TBR through all the bookish recommendations of my readers.
Wishing everyone loads of luck and perserverance to ace this year’s challenge with grace and elan. Let the games begin……………………..

For the uninitiated, AtoZ challenge is a blogging challenge wherein one has to write on every alphabet from A to Z and post on all days of April, except Sundays. Usually its better to devise a theme as it makes it easy to write the posts. Plus readers have a reason to stay hooked too.
This looks interesting and unique. Looking forward to your A to Z posts, Shalini. Wishing you the best. 🙂
Thanks Shilpa – fingers crossed for the ride 😉
This sounds so intriguing. Obviously I’m going to be around, cheering you on and reading your posts. Hoping to add to my TBR too. Good luck Shalz.
Thanks so much Tulika. I look forward to your feedback on my posts as well as new reccos for me on every prompt too. I am hoping for an awesome TBR too.
I’m glad you’ve decided to play. It’s a great theme and I look forward to your posts.
