Ten secrets……sssshhhh!!!
-
Romance is his middle name and I am an absolute and utter pile of mush when it comes to SRK! Its my secret-most [not so secret now 😉 ] desire to sit in his lap and gaze into his gooey nutella eyes, run my hands through his hair and………Siggghhhhh!!!
- I would sell my soul to the devil to see snowfall! This is my topmost wish for 2017 and am even planning a trip to Kashmir with it in mind; worshipping google weather these days 😉
- I wish to live in a red brick house which is set in the middle of a huge gardens with loads of amaltas, gulmohar and harshingar trees. My bedroom will have a cosy but spacious window seat for making love, having tea first thing in the morning, stargazing, rain watching and generally lazing with a book kinda nook.
-
As a child (even now as an adult too) I have this insane yearning for curly hair – auburn with a tinge of red and loads of soft curls, tumbling down the face!!!! Oh how I wish my genes allowed for this. My hairdresser is pooped to bits in her efforts to try to hot roll / iron roll and what-not my hair into submission but……
- I like to be on top of things but hate taking control of people in a group or being marked as a leader- yes this one is quite an oxymoron kinda quirk about me.
- Someday I am going to design my own line of furniture starting with the most rocking bookshelf to stock my gazillion books and a dressing table which has magical spaces to house all my makeup!!
-
My addiction to stationary is never-ending to the extent that I can never like never walk out of a store without buying something. I tell myself I will pick it up as a gift but guess where it ends up…………….. 😉
- I have a fear and loathing of exams, interviews and public speaking – went through all of them with an acute case of loose motions every time. Phew! (hate to be spotlight in a group, preferring to be the behind the scene activist)
- Guess what – I love Star trek over Starwars. “Beam me up Scottie”
- I confess to reading the Twilight series and loved them to death. (take that all you intellectuals)
There you go…. my top 10 not-so-secret Secrets for you to know me better. Wait! this is just the tip of the iceberg – so don’t yet start thinking that you know me better.
Linking up this post for Day #7 of the Ultimate Blog Challenge
This blog challenge has been inspired from two bloggers Novembers Child & Mayuri – thank you ladies for inspiring me too. Tagging Amrita and Shalini – 2 bloggers whose deep dark secrets I would like to know too 😉
It is my dream to see a snowfall too and you just described my husband’s favorite kind of hair Designing furniture sounds very fascinating… I hope you do that one day 😀
Thanks Raj – fingers crossed for the snowfall dream!! Shall update on it as and when…. 😉
What a delightful way of letting us know the real you….
Thanks Nishtha – why dont you write with this challenge too? Its quite an interesting prompt 🙂
Oh, I know! I had told P about my longing to see snowfall. But all he said was, “what if I get my posting in the field next. You can live for 2 years amidst snow.”
So, no. I don’t wish for that. 😛
Good luck with everything.
Thanks Nishtha – why dont you write with this challenge too? Its quite an interesting prompt 🙂
ohhhh, I think I will play, next week. Which is tomorrow. Number 5 is not an oxymoron, I don’t think. Being on top of things and knowing where a project is, or what is going on in a situation is not the same as being in charge of the projects. Just me. Love your list, thanks for sharing it on UBC.
Thanks Nita- look forward to your likes and loves via this prompt. I loved your vote of confidence of my “oxymoron” 😉
Your post is very interesting to me! I receive both the snowfall and have the curls you wish for – the grass is always greener, though! LOL It’s good to wish for things you can gain with a plan, but also so great to speak aloud the gratitude you have for the things you currently have. 🙂 Not a reprimand, only an observation! I love that you “bared your soul” a bit for this post!
Thanks Chondra- yes gratitude is a must. Just playing this writing challenge with my likes and hates – stay tuned for more. And yes the grass is definitely greener where its watered more… 😉
I’ve always wanted curly hair as a child too. Thankfully I married a curly haired man and three of our kids have his curls!
There is something so mmmmm about curly hair na!?! I wish…… sigh!!!
I’m stuck in snowfall. It is lovely, but you get tired of the cold, the shoveling, brushing snow off your car, warming up your car and being terrified of driving. By all means visit, but you wouldn’t want to live here.
I love your dream house. I also wanted hair like you described but instead got mousy dark blond/brown straight hair with no body.
And yes, window seats with books.
Hey Anna – yes snow can be quite tiresome to live with as my friends keep telling me. I just wish to see it fall once in my life…. I love the cold.
Thanks for liking my house – its a dream and someday it will be a reality!
Cheers
Wow, we have a lot there in common. I love SRK, I love stationaries. Nice to have read your little secrets, Shalz 🙂
enjoyed reading the post; and this is definitely a great prompt that is inspiring me to want to do this too! And, though I am not sure if they will feature in my list of secrets (they might!), # 7, 8, and 10 are items I share in common with you:)
#4 – i have curly hair that curls way more right after i have washed my hair 🙂 and thankfully (see, the grass is greener), my little girl has straight hair
I hope you see snow this year, it is a surreal feeling when you do so:)
I love my Curly Hair!:))
Hope you design your bespoke furniture range this year. And public speaking gives me the shivers as well!
Interesting list and good to know your secrets Shalz. I have curly hair and always wanted straight hair. I guess no one is happy with what they got;)
Absolutely lovely. I am an SRK fan too. And yes have the addiction to stationery..coloured pens to be specific.
