#NaBloPoMo
This card is an extension to yesterday’s card. I wont elaborate much on it as I find it pretty similar but will say this that calming the mind is the best thing to harvest its full potential. A calm and rested mind is our best ally in the stressful world today – be it pollution, work, relationships or just day-to-day routine – we accumulate stress via each and need a fully functioning and strong mind to overcome it all!
Stillness brings rationale and intelligence to the mind as both these attributes need a lot of thought clarity for us to use both effectively.
It also instills in us an appreciation for the little things we are blessed with and we learn not just gratitude but patience and acceptance too. We learn new lessons from all around us if we just let our mind reach out and explore it all.
Have you ever experienced stillness? Whats your verdict on it?

Shalz, I have expereienced this kind of stillness at my Yoga class. I love mountains and I used them to calm down and still my mind. Great post.
Thats so good to know Vasantha – I am so encouraged when I read such comments as yours. The imagery of mountains sounds so majestic and inspiring. 🙂
It is surprising how stilling the mind can give you so many ideas, na!
Hey Mayuri, Yeah its a terrific exercise to realise the potential of our minds.
This is such a thoughtful post, Shalini! Stable mind can do wonders and also helps in making some strong decisions with ease. In daily life it’s very hard to gather stillness but an early morning walk along sea side is just what can make a day perfect!
Thanks so much Saumy. Morning walk by the sea side is just what the doctor ordered- been so long since I have been near sea side to do that.
