Last day card and I am not sure if I am sorry its over or relieved 😉 What a journey this has been for me all this month and I just want to thank Kashmira Mody for designing such an insightful pack of cards and gifting me one; Shilpi & Manish for inviting me to the workshop where I met this wonderful woman and all my readers, fellow bloggers and the Divine for the love, affection and guidance to my writing.

I think I saved the best for last, though I was picking them in a random order without looking at them. I was curious about the word and googled it up some more.

Sammasati or Samma Sati literally translated means Right Mindfulness but that’s a very loosely based meaning of such a powerful word. Its said to be the seventh steps out of the 8 steps of Lord Buddha Noble Path. I wanted to read up more to understand this better as the word felt good but heavy in my mind.

Samma has many meanings –

  • Right
  • Equanimity
  • Tranquility
  • Silence
  • Balance

Sati also has multiple meanings –

  • mindfulness
  • remembrance
  • reflection
  • presence

Put together, the two words seems to pulse with such immense strength and rightfulness.

I have been practicing meditation for quite some time but this cards takes it beyond something that I think I am still too far to achieve yet. But I am setting it as a goal to do so soonest.

It seems to be a state mind where there is no thought or consciousness of self – just an awareness of oneness of you!

” Your journey of self transformation will invariable bring you to witnessing. Osho says”Witness that you are not the body, witness that you are not the mind, relax, let go. You are just a pure witness.”
