I felt extremely bereft when the 3 quotes, 3 day challenge got over and wanted to continue it somehow. So I thought why not just write some mini blogs and centre them around a quote that I like; make it a weekly activity. Then I remembered the Microblog Mondays by Blogchatter and Voila….
I  believe in this with all my heart the power of “I, me, myself” cannot be clearer than in this quote.
I am unique and what I can do or what I am meant to do – no one else can or is supposed to.
I know some people are riled by the fact that I live my life the way I want to but then that’s due to my beliefs. I know they think I have it so easy but the fact of the matter is, this is one of the hardest things to do.
To convince oneself of one’s worth and capability when one is conditioned with self doubts since birth, is more than an uphill task. Also it takes a lot of guts to live by what you believe in.

Each one of us is born unique and each one of us should be grateful for that. Our gratitude can only be expressed by embracing our individuality and carrying on with our beliefs, regardless of what everyone is talking behind our backs. It’s not their opinion that counts; but our happiness and satisfaction from our achievements. I am here to live my life for myself.
So lets learn to be satisfied with our own lot and work on doing whats best for us and what makes us happy.
I am grateful to the divine for granting me that belief and strength to be ME.

    1. Hey Parul – I know what you mean. Its very liberating to love oneself by freeing oneself of prejudices and pre concieved notions which are conditioning instills in us. Thanks for dropping by.

    1. Ah so I have turned into a mind reader!!! See what Blogchatter has made me into 😉
Glad you had a read Ramya – thanks darling!

  1. When people start to love themselves more each day, it’s amazing how their lives get better. They feel better. They get the jobs they want. They have the money they need. Their relationships either improve, or the negative ones dissolve and new ones begin. It’s a very simple premise—loving yourself. I’ve been criticized for being too simplistic, and I have found that the simple things are usually the most profound.
